our chickens have access to shelter and outdoor space.

plant starts

Just about every produce item produced on Zephyr Farm begins as a seed growing right here in our greenhouse. We seed our plants in organic compost potting mix and care for them every day until it is time to plant them in the fields. We sell the same varieties we are growing here on the farm.
Typically, we sell plant starts April through June, with all varieties available and ready to plant by mid/late May.

produce

We offer a variety of favorite kitchen staples as well as novel items you can’t get in supermarkets. We grow our produce from seed, using organic farming practices that do not use chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
Produce is generally in season from May through December.
